Suzie Cheel is a woman on a mission: to make a difference in the world by inspiring and empowering others and helping people to live lives full of joy, freedom and creativity. She applies in her life the Gandhi maxim to “be the change you want to see in the world.”
Trained as an early childhood teacher, Suzie taught children in Australia, the United Kingdom and Nigeria and later became a teacher of early childcare student teachers.
Then, some thirty years ago, exploring her own creativity and personal and community goals, Suzie embarked on what was to become a lifelong journey of self-discovery and learning about ways of effecting lasting change in the world.
In the process, she became an award-winning artist, built her own successful textile clothing and design business and acquired a Graduate Diploma in Social Communication and a Master of Applied Science (Social Ecology) from the University of Western Sydney.
The ‘Emergings’ book was created as that journey of change began and shares the challenges, misgivings and achievements of the process of taking those first steps to self-awareness and self-actualization.
Suzie lives on Australia’s Gold Coast and has an online business focused on the Law of Attraction. She is a Certified Law of Attraction Facilitator accredited through Michael Losier, author of the best selling book Law of Attraction: the science of getting more of what you do want and less of what you don’t want.
Suzie is a well-known blogger and through her AbundanceHighway, What Am I Grateful For Today and Suzie Cheel; The Art of Change blogs, Suzie applies her knowledge and experience to her goal of inspiring and helping others.
